We want to assure you, that your satisfaction is our prime concern. Therefore, we continue to make every effort to improve your shopping experience at our Site.


WHAT DO YOU PAY FOR SHIPPING AND HANDLING

We use UPS and Federal Express as our primary shipping services ensuring on-time and safe delivery. In order to provide our customers with cheapest shipping rates possible, we generate live rates through FedEx's and UPS's systems during the checkout. To get the exact shipping cost, please add the number of items you would like to purchase into your shopping cart, plug in your zip code and calculate. The shipping charge calculator in the shopping cart will only work for zip codes within the United States.


SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS


We are unable to ship to: Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Hampshire, Texas or Utah. We do NOT ship to P.O. Boxes, but do ship to all residential and business addresses.


ACCEPTING DELIVERY


By purchasing wine from Grand Vin Imports you are accepting the responsibility that package will be delivered into the hands of a legal adult. Title to all items you order passes to you as soon as it leaves our doors; it is up to you to know the relevant laws in your state.


You must be 21 years of age or older to purchase from Grand Vin Imports. All packages sent out by Grand Vin Imports REQUIRE a signature upon delivery.


Whenever possible, we encourage you to use a commercial business address to assure the fastest delivery time. Grand Vin Imports will ignore any Customer comments on their order such as "Please leave on back porch" or "Please leave at front door". We will not be able to refund any shipping charges if your package comes back to us because there was no adult to sign for it! The Customer will be required to incur the cost of shipping and handling, regardless of the Customer deciding to cancel the order.


HOW YOUR ORDER IS SHIPPED

 

Once your order is boxed and ready for shipment you will receive an email containing tracking information. These tracking numbers will only be active after they are scanned by the driver. (For example, if you have an order scheduled to ship on a Monday, we may box it on a Friday and send you the tracking info. However, the tracking info will not be valid until the driver picks it up on Monday.)

 

NOTE - If you have selected a specific shipping method such as Second Day shipping, your order may not necessarily arrive two days later. It will, however, be sent via Second Day service with our carrier (generally FedEx or UPS). It is extremely important to evaluate the time your order spends in transit, where we have no control over the environmental conditions. All FedEx/UPS transit times are only in effect after your order is shipped. We cannot guarantee any shipments by a specific date, nor will be held responsible for any shipping instructions given on an order. We will do our best to accommodate the Customer in any way.


WHEN YOUR ORDER IS SHIPPED

We make every attempt to get your order shipped to you as soon as possible. Orders placed today before 1pm will normally ship or be ready for pickup on the next business day, providing all items are in stock. All orders that are placed must be pulled in the order that they are placed, to ensure that each customer gets the requested wine in proper order. You will be notified by email that your order is ready to be picked up or if it has shipped. If you place an order Thursday through Sunday however, we will use our discretion with regards to weather conditions as to if the shipment will not go out until the following Monday to prevent it from being held in a storage facility over the weekend.


A small percentage of items require a longer ship-out time (2-4 business days). On rare occasions we may face an unforeseen delay in shipping your order and in that case, we will notify you by email. If we face insufficient inventory to fulfill your order, you will be notified as soon as possible.


Note: Due to carrier pick up times restrictions we do not ship on weekends or major holidays. Orders placed on Friday will usually ship on Monday or Tuesday of the following week.

 

SHIPPING OPTIONS

Shipping options are important because an adult signature is required for the delivery of alcoholic beverages.


GROUND - Delivery to all Business addresses between 9:00AM - 5:00PM Most cost effective and best when you are not in a hurry or if you are shipping to a work address where an adult is available to sign for the package.


HOME - Delivery to all Home addresses Most cost effective and best when you are not in a hurry or if you are shipping to your home where an adult is available to sign for the package.


SECOND DAY - Delivery within 2 business days excluding holidays and weekends Best for gifting occasions or when you want to be sure you are there to sign for the package. Please note this service does not allow you to set a specific delivery time, but will allow you to select a specific date for the first delivery attempt to occur.


STANDARD OVERNIGHT - Delivery next business day by 3 p.m. to most U.S. addresses; by 4:30 p.m. to rural areas (excluding holidays and weekends). Best for gifting occasions or when you want to be sure you are there to sign for the package. Please note this service does not allow you to set a specific delivery time, but will allow you to select a specific date for the first delivery attempt to occur.


If any of your items are not available for immediate shipment, you will be contacted. You can then choose to either hold shipment until all of the items are available, or we can help you substitute the item with an alternate suggestion.
