Victara 2017 Pinot Noir Special Reserve

Victara 2017 Special Reserve Pinot Noir is an elegant blend from three stellar Willamette vineyards.  Fruit forward with elegant aromas, the dark rich plum color is on vivid display and loaded with red and dark cherry, and blackberry. This wine is characterized by a velvet mid-palate and a long, pleasing layered finish with final notes of cola and dark chocolate. Cellar worthy, Victara 2017 is drinking beautifully now.

Harvest: 10/1/17 to 10/10/17

Brix at harvest: 21.2 to 25

Fermentation: 10 to 15 days

Fermenter type: 1.5 ton and 1 ton oak

Mode: 5 day cold soak, started on wild yeast, inoculated, manually punched down twice a day.

Barrel regime: New to 5 year old oak
