Grapes:  100% Sangiovese

Vinification and Refinement:  Fermentation in stainless steel vats the maceration on the skins lasted about 12 days. Refining n underground cellars, first in stainless steel vats then in American oak barrels for 6 months, lastly in the bottle.

Color: Deep ruby red.

Aroma: Intense, complex reminding  of underwood.

Tasting Notes:  Spicy, rich and full body.

Food Pairing:  Strong and savory dishes such as roasts and game, red meat and hard cheeses.

Suggested Serving temperature:  62° - 64°F
